Hi everyone. Things just got too hectic and the roller coaster too extreme so I decided not to blog for a while.

Dave has four treatments of radiation to go for the Hodgkins Lymohoma.

A few weeks ago he had to have an operation to remove tumors they found in his bladder. At the time we were quite overwhelmed with the setback. They treated his bladder with chemotherapy and think they have got it all. Prostate results were not good eiether, but at this stage they are just keeping their eye on that situation.

He will visit both specialists over the next couple of weeks and have another PET scan once the radiation is finished.

We are hoping that will show full remission and the party we have planned for our 25th anniversary later this month will be a remission celebration too!

We are really looking forward to all the family being in Wagga to help us celebrate and especially looking forward to leaving on a big holiday a week after that!

My plan is to start blogging regularly again for that trip – so stay tuned or sign up to follow us around Southern Europe! Food will feature… Of course ?

September is lymphoma month – please support the cause if you can and ‘lime it up for lymphoma’ https://www.lymphoma.org.au

Thank you all again for your overwhelming love and support over the past months.

I read your blogs, I don’t usually comment, I laugh, I get sad …. but always I am encouraged by the strength. Your Strength. Dave’s Strength. The strength you have as a couple and as a family. I look forward to the blog that talks about the nightmare that WAS, the bad times that WERE and then into the brighter future 🙂 Jx
